I will be examining the effect that Roman rule had over conquered lands and what specifically the Romans assimilated into their own culture and what they left behind. I will be looking closely at the Roman occupation of Judea and Britain.

How did the Romans deal with dissension and revolt?
What means did the Romans use to rule conquered lands?
